Responsive evaluation

Bob Stake's later and current evaluation model. He constrasts responsive with 'preordinate' evaluation, in which the design is completely determined prior to doing the evaluation. He prefers to have a general idea of how to start the evaluation, but to refine the design in the light of the early findings: this parallels the approach of 'grounded theory' a major theme in qualitative research.
