Multiple-choice

From EvaluationWiki

Jump to: navigation, search

A type of test item in which the testee is required to select the best answer from a set all of which are presented. Has the advantage of being machine-scorable, and the disadvantage that if scored in the usual way, it allocates the completely ignorant testee 20% or 25% of the marks, which makes it an invalid test according to the usual definition of test validity. See multiple-rating.
