Rubric
From EvaluationWiki
A scoring key for a test or observed task-performance: i.e., a set of rules for assigning marks or grades. Ideally, it coordinates a readily identifiable description of a type of answer with a particular mark or grade. A good rubric, thoroughly field-tested, is the key to reliability in grading, and scoring and hence ranking; validity requires more than that; it also requires justification of the degree of merit awarded to each description by the grade associated with it in the rubric, e.g., it requires that the A is defined in a way that requires excellence, not moderate competence.
