Quality assurance
From EvaluationWiki
A systematic procedure for ensuring that quality is maintained throughout a program and its products. The technique was originally associated with the industrial manufacturing sector checking process that pulls random samples from the production line for full testing, often including testing to destruction. The term has been applied in its general sense, which covers not only monitoring but remediation where necessary, to a much wider range of contexts, including service-oriented organizations and internal segments of any organization, e.g., internal auditing.
