Naturalistic

Usually refers to a study in which the evaluand is observed in its normal mode of existence or operation, by contrast with a staged presentation or an experimental investigation. May also refer to an approach or methodology which presents what is, strictly speaking, observed, rather than a highly interpretive account of it.
