Generalize
From EvaluationWiki
Often said to be the goal of science but in fact only a secondary goal to the goal of truth, hence in areas such as the study of human and inanimate chaotic behavior, generalization may become the enemy of the truth, since the truth in those realms often resists generalization in favor of idiosyncrasy and individuality. The lesson for evaluation is to be very cautious about generalizations from studies of particular sites to conclusions about what will work in apparently similar sites.
