Educational objectives

This may mean the general goals of education (preparation for work, for citizenship, for survival, etc.) or it may refer to the highly specific goals of a particular component of instruction (e.g., a lesson, a chapter in a text) and in this sense it is often taken to imply that the goal will be expressed in behavioral (i.e., measurable) terms, e.g., "increase score on SAT by 10%" might be a behavioral objective for a coaching class.
