Design
From EvaluationWiki
The design of an evaluation may be preordinate (planned in advance), as is common with social science investigations, or it may be responsive; it may be qualitative or quantitative; it may use an experimental design or a quasi-experimental design or another pre-existing design; it follow one of a number of standardized 'checklist' approaches such as CIPP or KECzzz or be created anew for the case, etc.
