Convergent

(i) Successive measurements or estimates or test results or evaluations are said to converge when they come closer together, in general a sign that they are more likely to be right, hence a desirable feature. See triangulation. (ii) Convergent thinking is thinking focused on getting to one right answer, and is contrasted with divergent thinking.
