In educational evaluation, it is common to focus on both content and process, that is, on what is taught and how it is taught. At times, excessive weight is placed on one rather than the other of these, by educational reformers as well as evaluators; modern educational practices are often criticized as having focused too much on process, and conservative reformers are often accused by their critics as focusing too much on content.
